Born into an aristocratic society in France, William Bead witnessed many political and artistic upheavals in his early years. When he came to America, he started writing about history. The author of many books and anthologies, he is best known for his epic non-fiction account of the downfall of Eden in "Paradise Lost." Mr. Bead is held in high esteem by fellow writers, as he is an avid reader as well as a prolific author.
